Carbon Steel Machined Parts

Carbon Steel is a metal alloy. An alloy is a material composed of either 2 metals or a metal and a non-metal. When the majority of one of these materials is Carbon, the metal alloy is considered Carbon Steel. Carbon Steel can contain trace amounts of other metals, such as nickel, molybdenum, copper and manganese, depending on what the steel will be used for.

carbonThere are four classes used to describe the different types of carbon steel. Those include Low-Carbon Steel, Medium-Carbon Steel, High-Carbon Steel and Ultrahigh-Carbon Steel.

Faith Manufacturing has a great deal of experience with low and medium carbon steel grades such as 1018, 1026, A36, A572, GR 50, and A516 GR 70. We make a multitude of parts such as drive rods, R.O.V. buckets, drain line fittings, lifting plates and latch plates.
