About Faith Manufacturing Co.
In 1984, while working for Cameron Iron Works in Houston, Texas, Larry Gustine and Greg Webster partnered to start their own machine shop. During this time the oil and gas industry was floundering and by the end of 1984 things were not looking up. To start a machining business in 1985 was seen by most as a foolish proposition and certain to fail. Nevertheless, in January 1985, after pulling their life savings together, Greg and Larry took a "leap of faith" and started Faith Manufacturing Company.
Through the ups and downs of the Oil and Gas Industry, Greg and Larry have led the company. The importance of family and hard work has held the core of the company together. Many of the employees have been a part of Faith Manufacturing for over ten years; a handful for over 25 years. Whether it is during the catered Thanksgiving lunch or time to step up in a down market, what it means to be at Faith Manufacturing hasn’t changed in the last 30 years.
Now a second generation of leadership is taking the reins. Cas Webster and Jeff Hickl have stepped in to manage and grow the company; to foster the same “faith” Greg and Larry had in 1984 for the 21st century.
